oye. the life.

My recent lack of posts can be blamed on a couple things...

a. Work
b. Finding somewhere to live/moving
c. Sleeping-it seems to be sort of a necessity (believe me, I have tried to go without it and it just doesn't quite work as well as I would like it to)

So, I will play a little catch up in this post.
First off, we had our annual family Seven Peak's Day. My whole family and a couple of my mom's sisters family's came. We had a lot of fun like we usually do. Also, Sarah and I renewed our season passes for next year which is fabulous because that means we can go splash in the wave pool and lay out all we want. haha.

Next, we had the cousin's sleepover. Because Emily and I tend to act like an old married couple she came with me. We did all of the usual family reunion activities which included the Oak City Day's parade and an amazing pot luck dinner, followed by crafts and the farmer's market the next day.

My family dynamic spans three generations-the aunts and uncles, the cousins, and then the cousin's children. As a consequence, we have people of all ages at the cousin's sleepover. We got to play with the babies and talk to my other cousins about getting married. And at one point, my uncle was trying to tell me how he wanted his daughter to know his funeral plans. Like I said, all ages. It is so much fun every year!

The good and bad news is that my crazy summer is coming to an end. I will start my last semester of actual classes in a short week and a half. Hopefully my schedule will start to stabilize when school starts. Funny, but I never thought that my schedule would be less hectic while I was in school.
